Bio

Mr. Myer serves as Project Manager for Hensel Phelps Construction Co.’s Mid-South Area Office in Nashville, TN.   Rob has been involved in the construction industry with Hensel Phelps for 21 years and provides extensive experience in team building, collaborative project delivery, and establishing and implementing effective communication skills for a diverse team environment.  Since joining Hensel Phelps in 2004, he has served in multiple roles and has been involved in a wide variety of markets, such as healthcare, education, transportation, and government institutions.  He is responsible for overseeing projects delivery and serves as Hensel Phelps’ primary project representative who responds to all requirements and concerns of the client.

Developing an early passion in his career for the collaborative and integrated nature of Design-Build project delivery method, he has completed  over  $750  million  worth  of  design- build projects including the U.S. Southern Command Headquarters project which received the National Design-Build Excellence Award by the Design-Build Institute of America.  Mr. Myer previously served the DBIA – Western Pacific Region as an Education Committee representative as well as served on DBIA-WPR Board of Directors as the Hawaii chapter President. 

Rob holds a B.S. in Construction Management from Pittsburg State University and is a certified Design-Build (DBIA) and LEED BD+C Accredited Professional

In his free time, Rob is an avid hunter and fisherman, spending most of his time training and hunting with his bird dogs, and spending time with his wonderful wife and two sons.
